Shape the Future of Clinical Immunology in Canada

Since 2020, the Clinical Immunology Network–Canada (CINC) has grown from a small
group of passionate clinicians into a national, not-for-profit organization representing every
pediatric and adult clinical immunology centre across Canada.

CINC brings together clinicians, clinician-scientists, and researchers from anglo and francophone
regions of Canada, and from different medical subspecialties, all sharing one goal:
to improve care, advance knowledge, and strengthen collaboration in clinical
immunology—nationwide.

We invite you to become a CINC member and be part of what’s next.

What CINC Has Achieved

CINC has quickly become a recognized national and international leader by:

        • Establishing a coast-to-coast clinical immunology network, now recognized by 20+
national and international organizations and patient advocacy groups

        • Highlighting Canada’s unique expertise in clinical immunology within a universal
          healthcare system with interprovincial differences.

        • Launching the Canadian Inborn Errors of Immunity National Registry (CIEINR)—set to become the most comprehensive IEI registry in Canada, supporting:

          • Evidence-based advocacy

          • High-quality research

          • Improved access to care for patients

        • Advocating for critical initiatives, including:

          • Newborn screening for SCID

          • Consensus statements supporting access to specialized therapies (e.g., thymus
            transplantation)

          • Clinician input into funding and regulatory decisions that now benefit patients

        • Supporting successful CIHR and CIRM grant applications

        • Partnering with the Canadian Society for Immunology to launch the Translational
          Immunology Committee

        • Hosting three highly successful Academic Meetings (Halifax, Orford, Calgary)

        • Achieving our first CINC publication, with various published abstracts and posters
presented on behalf of the network
